![]() This year, Dior is extending the Dior Addict Lip Glow range with two new releases: Dior Addict Lip Glow Liner The formula works from within, so your lips will also appear plumper and fuller. The Colour Reviver Technology present in the original Dior Addict Lip Glow formula reacts to the moisture level of the lips and releases active ingredients to give the lips a natural flush of color that suits the individual’s own skin tone. It’s not your regular lip balm – its formula subtle enhances your natural lip color, working with your lip’s actual shade rather than overlaying a color over it the way most tinted lip balms do. The Dior Addict Lip Glow was an innovation of its kind when it launched, and has gained a bit of a cult status. Instant little “pick me up” if you ask me :).After the product was launched in 2009, it has become a worldwide phenomenon and one of Dior’s best-selling products, continuing to grace bloggers’ and beauty editor’s “favorites”/”must-haves” lists and continues to be the permanent companion inside her purse. It’s hydrating and protecting my lips, while giving it a “custom” shade of that beautiful, natural pink color. It’s great to use on those days when I don’t feel like wearing makeup, or when I wear minimal makeup. I find that I don’t have to reapply it too often throughout the day, and even if I do, it’s much easier to do than dipping my finger in the Vaseline jar.ĭior Addict Lip Glow Color Reviver Balm is one of those products that I pretty much always carry with me. ![]() For the past few years I had a similar routine whenever hitting the slopes: a thick layer of a good moisturizer, a nice, hydrating BB cream on my face, a little mascara and a few layers of my Glow Balm by Dior (it also has protection of SPF10). I used to use Vaseline or Elizabeth Arden’s Eight Hour Cream on my lips, but it’s a pain having to reapply it, having to take your gloves off and needing to dip your finger in the tiny jar/container. Whenever we go snowboarding during winter, I always get paranoid about windburn. I can sit here and list all of the things that I love about this product (with an exception of the price- $33.00) but the bottom line is I like it because one it’s soothing, hydrating and pretty much everything else you’d want from a lip balm and two it gives my lips a subtle, natural glow. ![]() With the weather getting colder, my skin gets dry and Dior Addict Lip Glow Color Reviver Balm is a must have for me. If you’re anything like me, then you know the struggle of lips that constantly chap. Smooth it on your lips and you will feel the magic of ultra nourishing mango butter that will soften your lips while loofa extract hydrates it and promotes healing. Pretty cool isn’t it? This means that this product will not look the same on everyone, as it reacts with your very own skin tone to create a unique shade that’s yours and yours only. the color reviver technology reacts with the chemistry of your lips to enhance your natural lip color. Dior Addict Lip Glow Color Reviver Balm (that’s a mouthful, ain’t it?) does not only come in gorgeous packaging, but it’s also smooth, creamy, non-sticky, moisturizing, and oh, yeah. I don’t like balms that leave a lot of that wax-y residue, have a scent that’s too strong or are sticky. I can be quite picky when it comes to lip products (especially if we’re talking about balms & other treatments). I’m already on my third tube of Dior Addict Lip Glow Color Reviver Balm and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to get enough of it! I bought my first tube few years ago and it has quickly climbed to the top of the list of my favorite products of all time.
